A Place for Williams, AZ Locals

I'm actually a Newcomer to this wonderful small town of Williams. We moved here in September 2010 and I've been searching for one place on the internet that might tell 'What's Happenin' in and around this mostly tourist town. Couldn't find the one spot on the web, so decided to become a 'roving reporter' and scour not only the web, but hit the streets.

Happy St. Patricks Day

"May flowers always line your path and sunshine light your day. May songbirds serenade you every step along the way. May a rainbow run beside you in a sky that's always blue. And may happiness fill your heart each day your whole life through.”~♥

Our Visit to 'The Singing Pig'...First of Many to Come

Hubby and I went for dinner on opening night (Tuesday 3/1/11) to 'The Singing Pig' BBQ Restaurant, here in Williams, AZ.  It is purposely not designed to be a fancy, fine dining establishment.  It's casual to the 'n'th degree....featuring plastic tableware and paper napkins to keep staffing requirements limited to the couple who owes it...Kevin does the cooking and Kathi takes your order at the counter, cashiers and hostesses.  They had a decent amount of business from the locals while we were there and they proved to be very capable and friendly host.  I'm going to borrow a picture of their menu taken by a new friend of ours (.... a fellow customer there that evening.)  I have pictures of our food...which will not do justice to the yummyness only enjoyed by our taste buds.

Hubby ordered - Who Let the Dogs Out? - $6.49
Big Blaster Nathan's All Beef HotDog - Absolutely huge! Garlic grilled to perfection on Hoagie Roll and piled high with: Melted Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Spicy Pulled Pork, Grand Canyon Tomatillo Sauce, Horseradish Mayo, Kevin's Barn Burner Mustard and their Secret BBQ Sauce. Also piled onto sandwich is Crispy Coleslaw and Fresh Cut French Fries.

I ordered the Special - 1/4 Mesquite Smoked BBQ Chicken - $6.95
also piled on top was the delicious Coleslaw and the Fresh Cut French Fries.

EXTREMELY TASTY .....Messy, but isn't BBQ supposed to be messy?

Below are pics taken by myself and/or Al (my new friend) on Grand Opening Day!
